Erica-Lynn Huberty, owner and Principal Designer of Blossom Haven, combines a vast knowledge of the technical aspects and history of graphic, interior, and exterior design. She gears this knowledge toward contemporary client needs. Fine art trained, she designs residential spaces, commercial spaces, & graphic images and logos, as well as unusual and off-the-beaten-path projects encompassed in Interdisciplinary Design. Exceptional taste, unique touches, infusing projects with artistic character, and a keen sense of relevance and livability, are her trademarks .
She has been featured in several magazines, design sites, and newspapers, including This Old House and Apartment Therapy. She was chosen as one of 20 celebrated designers (along with HGTV’s Libby Langdon and Gracie Mansion designer Jamie Drake) for the 2006 HC&G Idea House in Water Mill. She was awarded “Best Interior Designer” by Dan’s Papers each year from 2004-2007.
Erica-Lynn Huberty attended Parsons School of Design, then obtained her B.A. with honors from New York University. She holds an M.F.A. in Visual Arts & Design from Bennington College (as well as an M.A. in literature), completed post-graduate programs at the RISD Museum School, RI, and the Metropolitan Institute of Interior Design, NY; she trained extensively with two Master Fine Finishers (in paint and wood finishes), giving her a technical edge and knowledge base beyond the ordinary designer.
